A first class metal also needs a first class wrapper. Customers want to receive their metal in perfect shape and condition so they can use it completely.
Good wrapping is therefore necessary and should protect the metal during transport, against condensation, the weather, environmental effects, and mechanical damage.

Meuwissen Industrie supplies packaging materials for all kinds of metal: hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanised, colour-coated, tin plate, black plate, plain, or aluminized as well as copper, bronze, and brass.

For all of these, the packaging material must fulfil the same criteria. It must offer corrosion protection and at the same time provide protection against dents, scratches, and dust.
All laminates developed by Meuwissen are shock-absorbing and have the "breathing" qualities that minimise the risk of condensation due to temperature
changes. In addition, VCI anti-corrosion impregnation can also be applied to the materials.

All these requirements Meuwissen has united in different qualities of Montancrepe® and Steelex®. However Steelex® could be supplied up to 325 cm at the maximum.

Meuwissen is the only producer in the world who can produce crepe and VCI qualities up to 325 cm.
