Mi-no-cor® is an active and environmentally friendly VCI quality developed by Meuwissen Industrie, offering comprehensive protection of ferro and non-ferro materials, even under extreme circumstances, and without any side effects on plastics and coatings.

Mi-no-cor® products offer a special advantage, as the corrosion-inhibiting vapours are chemically active even on moist metallic surfaces. VCI neutralises acidic media, such as the free acids of casing boards, perspiration, chlorides, sulphates, sulphites, and sea water.

Steel and iron are protected from corrosion by the volatile corrosion impregnation. As a result, protective oiling and greasing are no longer required. The protection acts not only when the VCI paper is in direct contact with the metal surface: protection is ensured at a distance of up to 30 cm between paper and metal.

This property, which is the result of the impregnation being continuously released in the form of vapours, is particularly important for the protection of surfaces inside milled holes and other voids.
