A creped packaging material with a stretch range from 5% to 100%. Mi-no-cor® is additionally impregnated with VCI anti-corrosion chemicals.
The crepe is made from Kraft paper with long virgin fibres, which is pH-neutral and technically 100% chloride-free.
VCI's vapour phase protects steel and iron from corrosion without any pre-treatment such as oiling or greasing.
This protection not only acts when the paper is in direct contact with the metal surface, but also provides protection to a distance of up to 30 cm between the paper and the metal.
VCI can be applied to all our creped products.
Crepe is a very flexible packaging material offering better stretch properties than qualities based on non-creped paper.
Its flexibility enables it to perfectly follow the contours of the wrapped object. In addition, crepe paper has a high moisture absorption capacity.
The Tensile Energy Absorption is many times greater than that of qualities based on non-creped paper. This is an important issue when handling coils, bending sheets, and overlap-roof-tile wrapping pipes, wires, and sectional materials.
Even on sharp edges, creped paper will give the ultimate protection. For an even higher degree of protection we recommend Montancrepe®.
